Dear Recruiting manager,

It is great pleasure for me to apply for opening position of your esteemed company.
I started my job in Hyundai business group. As an assistant of corporate development team, one of my main tasks was to develop car component manufacturer for replacing various imported components and the other important task was to establish motorcycle & light 4-wheel vehicle industry under the name of Hyundai. As a result, our team established strategic alliance with Italian motorcycle & light 4-wheel vehicle manufacturer Piaggio, sister company of FIAT and I had a chance to study how European manufacturer develop their product and evaluate marketing activities. But all projects were stopped as IMF governing situation started and I moved to European industrial & military vehicle supplier which was major machinery supplier of Hyundai Heavy Industry Co. as I intended to do more in direct sales area. In spite of hardship in first business year, I started to achieve several contracts at Korean government tender from early of second business year on behalf of continuous marketing activities based on patience and holding any business partner in respect. One of my successful achievement was BMW police escort motorcycle supply in Korea National Police Agency. As nobody even imagine that BMW can supply police motorcycle instead of American manufacturer Harley Davidson which had monopoly market in Korea more than 45years on behalf of close political relation between Korea and U.S.A. Right before completion of the contract, former BMW motorcycle sales representative Mr. Herbert Pferinger who started alone BMW motorcycle sales operation in Korea from 1999 proposed me to join his team to develop Korean market.
BMW was a first foreign motorcycle manufacturer's subsidiary in Korea and we initiated proper dealer network which can provide proper sales and service offer to all motorcycle customers. And as an important strategy, our business focused on 'let every employee in our organization have pride as an owner of the brand'. We tried also every colleagues can have fun from any business activity and as a result, after 2 years, we sold more than 400 civilian bikes and 103 police bikes. It was amazing result if we consider that it took more than 25 years to reach total 2,000 Harley Davidson bikes pool in Korean market. As an authority sales manager, I opened sales channel not only Korean National Police Agency but also Korean Military Police and US Navy in Korea. Also, I managed and successfully implemented diplomat and military sales for special client group and accomplished 3 motorcycle dealer development including regional market analysis, target candidate search and initial contact, contract process, financial scheme planning and advise, display and workshop shop planning according to centralized identification, sales and service training, consultation of initial marketing.
