1. Demand Forecasting (FCST)
• Implement seasonal Open-to-Buy & Sell-in fcst plan aligned with financial targets and global direction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Merchandising and Commercial Planning and FP&A to manage financial health, including gross sales, net sales, and SKU productivity.
• Ensuring buying strategies are aligned with financial goals across all channel types, minimizing overstocks while capitalizing on high-demand product opportunities.
2. Assortment strategy set up
• Develop seasonal and core assortment investment strategy through a bottoms-up analytical approach, incorporating historical performance, strategic direction and market trend.
• Manage product volumes and inventory levels to support timely launches and optimal stock positions.
• Ensuring buying plan alignment with commerce team and leadership to enable cross -functional consensus on the financial and product performance target.
• Review and revisit communication for sell-in submissions and finalization on booking plan.
3. Assortment performance management
• Ensuring to provide in-season and post-season hindsight analysis of cross-channel sell-out, to uncover actionable insights, translating key learnings into strategic recommendations and future-forward assortment planning.
• Ensuring product lifecycles are aligned with brand equity and commercial intent by communicating proactively for carryover requests and opportunities in re-orders.
4. Support brand and channel strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with merchandising, channel and other departments to ensure alignment of inventory needs and distribution plans.
• Collaborate with channel to build and manage channel segmentation that goes with business strategy.
• Actively manage delivery timelines with supply chain, ensuring flawless execution of product launches across channels; escalate to merchandising and work together on solutions in the event of delays.
경력 및 자격요건
• 10 to 12 years of merchandising, buying, merchandise planning, or demand planning
• Relevant industry experience
• OTB planning or Demand forecasting experience is required
• Proven experience in assortment strategy, financial planning, and trend analysis within a multi-channel environment
• Sophisticated understanding of the fashion and performance footwear market, including product lifecycle management, category architecture, consumer segmentation, competitive landscape, channel trends.
• Highly organized with a sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Written and verbal communication skills in both Korea and English to clearly articulate assortment planning and buying strategies to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, and other Allocation platforms.
