Design the strategic trade marketing annual plan in synergy with sales and marketing with an effective
promotional and activation plan (“push & pull strategies”) aligned with corporate strategy.
Work closely with brand and sales team to develop trade marketing activities in line with Brand Plan
strategy as well as to assess efficiency (effectiveness + lowest cost). Ensure that sales team is provided
with all necessary information and support on “push” activities (promotion, depletions programs, L3F
plans, etc.).
Lead trade team members, brand ambassador and content creator with clear directions and optimize
planning, showing a clear anticipation.
Ensure adherence to plan contributing to improve S&OP process.
Define clear objectives, KPI’s and project deadlines for all team members.
Create, develop, and implement VAP’s for festive seasons.
Develop and update L3F (merchandising and POS) plan for channel and strategic outlets and help sales
Team on execution.
Coordinate with Brand team on brand thematic merchandising execution (e.g. visual merchandising,
festive packs, VAP, etc.).
Develop strong relationship with selected strategic customers and network key relevant decision makers
for brand activation and events.
Assist Sales to negotiate the L3F & promotion with strategic customers (preparation and meetings).
Lead Trade Marketing activation and draw up plans and execute “push” programs in conjunction with
brand policies, guidelines and budgets.
Analyze the opportunities and threats of the environment, by constantly seeking and interpreting market
data related to promotion, activation and L3F by customers and competitors
Liaise with relevant promotion and agencies and suppliers to develop below-the- line materials in support
of in-country marketing plans. Monitor, analyze challenge and report on agencies and suppliers
performance and cost.
Monitor Trade Marketing spend against budget or LE and ensure compliance
