1. Build the Brand Strategy
Develop annual brand plans for Ballantine’s & Royal Salute in accordance with brand positioning, route-to-consumer, pricing, and portfolio optimization, and both global strategies and local business priorities.
Analyze whisky market trends, consumer insights, and competitive dynamics to identify and propose strategic opportunities.
Assess and strengthen brand equity across key touch points with consistent qualitative and quantitative exposure.
Provide strategic recommendations to senior leaders based on market intelligence and business performance.
2. Deliver the Strategy to Market
Plan and implement the integrated marketing plans for Ballantine’s and Royal Salute (ATL, digital, PR, sponsorships, consumer events, collaborations) to achieve short-term and long-term objectives.
Influence Trade Marketing and Sales by clearly communicating strategies and ensuring cross-functional alignment.
Manage external agencies through clear briefs and daily coordination, ensuring high-quality output and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Prioritize projects and ensure execution on time and within budget.
3. Manage and Develop Business
Manage the market execution of new product launches, ensuring strong launch plans and in-market delivery.
Take fully responsibility for the agreed A&P budget by activity and by brand, ensuring efficient allocation, spending and optimization.
Work closely with Trade Marketing on POSM production and deployment via global/local platforms
Monitor brand performance, market dynamics, and competitor activities, adjusting plans based on insights.
Ensure clear communication across stakeholders and serve as the primary interface with Global HQ for the implementation of brand programs.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing
- Experience in a similar or related industry preferred (Liquor, FMCG, Luxury)
- Strong brand management capability with a proven track record
- Convivial attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong ownership
- Fluency in both Korean and English
- High ethical standards
