The Main Purpose of the role:
• Plan, manage, and direct the HR policies and procedures.
• Aligning staff to business objectives, recruiting the right talent, enhancing staff performance, supporting employee development, enhancing recruitment efforts, planning strategic HR initiatives, managing HR consultants, running orientation and onboarding processes in addition
• Partnering with business and talent management, talent acquisition on staffing & recruiting colleagues on key talent initiatives.
• Acting as advisory for business and enabling change through HR programs and organizational design and development.
The main areas of responsibility:
• Set the corporate HR Strategies and link them to the Corporate Objectives.
• Enhance the corporate culture and company values.
• Control the HR departments performance setting KPI’s and monitoring progress providing reports to senior management.
• Develop, implement and maintain all policies and procedures ensuring compliance with the local labor law.
• Ensure Manpower planning is in line with the business objectives of the company.
• Manage manpower costs versus profitability of the company.
• Implement retention policies minimizing employee turnover.
• Provide Technical expertise and assistance to employees, supervisors and managers on employee performance, discipline, supervision and grievance.
• Assist in mediation and resolution of workplace conflicts.
• Assess employee grievances as per corporate policies and procedures.
• Implement and direct the employee performance evaluation system.
• Implement and Direct succession planning within the organization.
• Supervise the processing of personnel transactions and the maintenance of appropriate employment data and records.
• Assist with the onboarding of new employees, offer letters, joining dates etc.
• Maintain incident reports ensuring claims are dealt with in a timely manner
경력 및 자격요건
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
• 12 years HR experience, ideally from a multinational organization.
• Knowledge in labor law and related regulations in South Korea.
• Excellent understanding of HR systems and procedures .
• In-depth professional HR knowledge .
• Ability to translate strategy into policies and procedures.
• Knowledge and understanding of financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Strong managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft office skills; strong spreadsheet & database skills; previous experience in SAP or other ERP/HRIS systems an advantage.
• Bilingual skills – proficiency in English and Korean.
