1. Application Management:
• Manage the full lifecycle of Front-Office and Back-Office applications, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Oversee the seamless integration of Korean applications, such as eRetail flows, OMS, Kakao and Naver, with other systems.
• Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and reliability of the applications.
• Collaborate with vendors, internal stakeholders (Global & Regional Beauty Tech Teams in particular), and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize application functionality.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with Korean policies of Cybersecurity standards for servers and VMs related to the applications
2. Team Leadership:
• Lead a team (5 HC) of application manager and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Define and prioritize tasks, projects, and resources to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide progress updates to senior management.
3. Business Analysis and Solution Design:
• Work closely with Korean business stakeholders to understand their requirements, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions.
• Translate Korean business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs for application enhancements and customizations.
• Support the roll-out of Global & Regional solutions to Korea (Identify gaps, coordinate local stakeholders when required, focus on UAT / Support / Change Management)
• Collaborate very closely with Regional and Global teams or local vendors to ensure successful implementation and delivery of system enhancements and integrations, and apply guidelines when communicated
• Conduct user acceptance testing and oversee change management activities for Korean applications.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• 10 years of proven experience in managing Front-Office and Back-Office applications, with a focus on local Korean applications such as Kakao and Naver.
• In-depth understanding of Retail industry – with focus on Korea ecosystem & practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders with business driven mindset. Proficient in English, ability to speak with stakeholders at various levels (Global, Regional, local GMs and Managers)
• Proficiency in understanding Management and integration Retail, CRM, Digital, OMS, AX, WMS, and other relevant applications.
• Good knowledge of Korean-specific applications like Kakao and Naver,
• Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects in the Korean market.
• Proficient in system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of enterprise-level applications.
• Strong hands-on management capabilities, leadership, coaching, and people management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering effective solutions tailored to the Korean market.
